Automobiles in Germany's Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Officers mentioned they were alerted by a resident who discovered a vehicle in Hanau marked with red-colored fluid

Roughly 50 automobiles have been marked with what appears to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postal boxes were vandalized, in some cases with prohibited symbols, they stated in a release.

Officers report they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a man observed that a car in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish substance.

The fluid had been placed in the pattern of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered many other vandalized automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are prohibited in Germany under legislation outlawing the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police say early analysis indicate the fluid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to its source; investigators are currently not informed of any injuries in relation with the event," they stated.

City officials stated they were trying "to resolve the incident" and have requested to the residents for information.

A high-ranking representative said the attack rendered him stunned and required to be addressed promptly.

"This act hits the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the far-right violent incident five years ago," he posted on a platform, referring to the killing of nine people by a assailant aiming at residents of immigrant origin in 2020.
