Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
